Coronavirus COVID-19

East Riding Council Contact Centre

A dedicated contact centre specifically for residents who do not have a network of carers, family, friends, neighbours or local community groups to call upon is available.  Opening times are 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.  Telephone 01482 393919 or email covid@eastriding.gov.uk

Please note that this contact centre is not for emergencies or for those vulnerable residents who are in the adult care system. It is for those who may be in self-isolation and need medicines or essential food collecting, pets that need walking or are maybe feeling lonely and would like to be able to chat with someone.

Parish Council Meetings

In line with Government advice on public gatherings and self-isolation all meetings of the Parish Council are cancelled until further notice.

Core duties of the Parish Council will continue through the Clerk in conjunction with the Chairman.

Residents needing to contact the Parish Council can continue to do so in the usual manner, details are on the Contact page

The situation will be closely monitored and the Parish Council will introduce any additional measures advised by the Government and/or ERYC as and when necessary.

The Parish Council understands that normally most members of our community are self-sufficient but in light of the recent outbreak, some of our more vulnerable residents may need additional support in the coming weeks and would therefore ask you if you could check on your friends and neighbours if possible and to follow Government advice on self-isolating.
